Antonio Machina was born on November 5th, 1987 in Alexandria, Egypt, to German parents.
In typical German fashion, his father wanted him to become a political scientist and study in the University of Düsseldorf,
but Antonios heart lied in the world of fashion. As the pressure mounted,
Antonio escaped to his Heimatland, Germany, to pursue his dream of becoming a fashion designer.
He started designing luchador masks for underprivileged kids in the 2006 FIFA World Cup,
but was put in jail by the Bundespolizei.
It was there that he was mistaken by a confused German customs official for a mask-smuggler,
and deported to a jail in Latin American country.
This was when he started his first collection with his fellow inmates in the Barrientos jail.
After an extremely successful runway, in which a riot broke out in jail,
he found his true calling: a machine-based fashion brand with a political twist,
partly fulfilling his fathers dying wish of him becoming a politician.
